The scientific and practical journal "Nuclear Safety" is the Russian peer-reviewed journal, which is included into the list of the leading periodicals approved by Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation (VAK RF). Its aim is to present authoritative information on the modern directions of researches in the areas connected with nuclear engineering (nuclear power plants, fuel, radiation safety and ecology and so forth), operation of the NPP, and also with social and legal aspects of development of NPP territories.

Articles cover all aspects of global infrastructure of nuclear safety, main questions of staff training of nuclear power, weapon and scientific and technical complexes, and also complexes on ensuring radiation safety (for more details see the list of headings).

The edition is designed for scientists and research engineers, professionals in the field of nuclear physics and engineering, and also students of older years and graduate students specializing in area of nuclear physics, power and ecology.

The journal has been published since December, 2011 four times a year of 120 pages of the A4 format in Russian with English abstract.
